If you are looking for the best orthopaedic surgeon in New Jersey look no further than Dr. David Dickerson. I feel incredibly blessed to have found him, his fantastic NP Shawn Denning and all of the kind staff at Performance Orthopaedics. I am rather accident prone, and clumsy enough to need four surgeries in 3 years. Thank goodness for Dr. Dickerson. He repeatedly saved my knees, and strongly advocated for the best care and outcomes for me. He is an absolute brilliant surgeon and I cannot say enough good about him. I only wish I could have brought him along with me on my move cross country and I am praying to find a surgeon here like Dr. Dickerson but truly he is one in a million. If you want the best ortho care in NJ Performance Orthopaedics is your place to be. You will be in gifted hands! Happy healing ☺️♥️

Met with the PA, which I have no problem with except since he never introduced himself, I don't know his name. He was quick to imply that my broken clavicle was due to my age after a fall. The subject then became my hips and how I will end up in a nursing home or dead if I should fall and break a hip. No attention was given to my break, no exam, no test of motion, and no recommendations for help healing. He requested my records of bone density instead. His lack of bedside manner made my visit not worth the drive to Toms River. I went to that office at the recommendation of the emergency room visit at SOCH...I live in Manahawkin and will find someone closer, and hopefully a little more compassionate about my situation.
